traveled to Egypt in July of 1798 linking his name to the fame and
mystery of ancient Egypt: The Land of the Pharohs. There amidst

burning sands and towering pyramids of Egypt Napoleon conquered, only
to be driven back again. |
Perhaps the greatest
draw for people to come to Egypt, however, is not to see Napoleon's
conquests or even the beauty that is the desert but to see the
Pyramids. Those towering moneliths that have stood the test of
time still boggle the mind and ensnare the senses. Their
incredible size accompanied by the mystery have made the pyramids one
